She blushed. “I know this wasn’t practice.” She assured. She smiled at him warmly, reaching out to touch his face very gently. She was nervous, but assured with herself in the moment. She felt surprisingly confident. “It wasn’t wrong of you to ask, I promise. I just wanted to make sure I understood.” She assured. She leaned in and stole a peck on his lips. She blushed doing it, but she wanted to. “I want to go steady with you.” She promised. “I don’t mind that you’re older. I’m of age.” She assured. “Even going back to Hogwarts this year, I’ll be eighteen.” She promised.

She moved her hand from his face and reached down to take his hand and lace fingers. “I’m excited.” She promised. “I didn’t think you’d ever notice me like this.” She confessed, a little vulnerable in the moment. “I thought I would always be a little girl to you, so I’m glad you like me, Ian. I like you too. I have for awhile.” She confessed again, though this was more obvious.

Beauxbatons Lands / Does this really count as sport...(Dino)
« Last post by Phil Dujardin on March 06, 2024, 12:16:26 AM »
Phil had been excited when the new headmistress had mentioned that there would be a sports initiative this year at Beauxbatons. He had been involved in the arts initiative last year and while a lot of it was outside his comfort zone, he had been ok with a few of the monthly ‘events.’ Sports, however, now that was right up the young man’s alley. He had grown up on several wizarding games and sports and, as a halfblood, was at least familiar with several of the Non-Magiques games as well…that said, he had not expected the first of the “sports” to be what it was…

When the announcement had first appeared in the common room and had been made at one of their meals, Phil thought they had to be joking. There was no way that the school, in all of its wisdom after last year’s fiasco, would seriously be bringing magical ostriches to the school and giving students the opportunity to ride them. Nobody would be so crazy as to approve such a hairbrained idea, would they? And yet, as sure as the sun rises and sets, a few days later Phil had been outside and heard strange new noises as a part of the symphony that was his home. ‘Merde,’ the boy thought, ‘just what we need, one more crazy creature to attack someone, to maul and maim, to ensure that we all get sent home for good this time around…’

So, naturally, Phil was surprised when Dino had invited him to go down to the paddock to see these “creatures” (beast was probably more apt, but Phil would make that point as soon as something went wrong). He’d accepted for numerous reasons. First, he didn’t want to tell Dino—or anyone else for that matter—that he wasn’t particularly fond of magical creatures. He would probably have been given a pass, especially after last year. Even so, the addition of his newly acquired accessory seemed to have made Phil care a bit more about his reputation than he had previously. Second, Dino was a few years his senior. It was going to take a lot more than an ostrich with some gold feathers to let an upperclassman down. Finally, he didn’t have a very good excuse why not to go down and see them. Between the emphasis on the sports initiative, on the house cup, and his own feeling of needing to lead by example, there was no real reason to skip out on the first event in the initiative.

As the time for their meeting down at the stables approached, Phil fastened a light cloak over his robes as he headed down the familiar path. It wasn’t particularly cold, but who knew how it would feel if he actually ended up on the backs of one of those things and they started running. Wind like that could make it a bit chilly. Rounding the corner to the stable, Phil noticed a few others were down already. It looked as if they were marveling at the birds, albeit from a safe distance. While Phil felt the only real safe distance was the palace, the time for doubt like that was past. He was here. He'd spend some time with Dino looking them over, familiarizing themselves with the creatures, and then head back up after he put in his requisite time “participating.” Lost in his own head, Phil almost didn’t notice when someone said his name.

Scotland / Re: [Edinburgh] You look so pretty, and I love this view (Hyacinth)
« Last post by Ian Moray on March 05, 2024, 10:51:55 PM »
Ian blinked once, then twice. Practiced kissing? "Well that wasn't practice." Merlin's beard he really was taking advantage of her. Guilt riddled through him as he thought about the experience differences between them. It was different when he was with Ivy because he was still at Hogwarts along with her. But with Hyacinth...it was all sorts of wrong and Ian was wondering if he should back out now? She deserves someone whose less like him and more like a boy who hasn't had much experience like him. Who hasn't been around the world...so to speak.

Then she says ravish as if she knows what he's thinking in his own dirty mind. One day? Yes Hy one day I will ravish you in your bed, against the wall, on the table in the greenhouse.

If she knew then perhaps she would run away, leave him right here and figure out what to do at the wedding alone. Ian was sure of it. Just as he was sure that he should be doing the same thing yet he couldn't tear himself away from Hy. There was something about her presence that made him feel at peace. Perhaps it was her innocence. The way the world didn't seem like it was dying all around her. Ian wasn't sure but all he knew was that he wanted to be with her. Even if logically it would be best if he didn't.

"Yes. Is that wrong of me to ask?" Of course she had ever right to say no. Ian hoped she didn't just turn him down or say he was just a fill in for a guy she really liked that couldn't make it. Nerves flushed through him as looked away and absentmindedly ran his hand through his hair. Messing it just enough so that it wasn't all the way slicked back. If Basil saw what he did...well Ian was sure he would lose his shite. "I know I'm older than you and you're still at Hogwarts. Which is why I can take things slow and if you want to say no.." Ian paused and looked at Hy, "Well I would understand."

Hyacinth blushed a little at his disbelief. “I once practiced kissing with a boy who likes boys?” She offered, but did that really count? If he didn’t like girls anyway? She had always had bad taste in men, fixer uppers who didn’t want to get better. Ian was the same, in a way, but he did want to be better to her, she supposed. When he promised to be gentle, she blushed more. She read romance novels and knew about sex in a romance-novel sort of way, but her mind immediately went to that, not kissing, and that was the cause of her flush.

“You’re afraid you’ll ravish me.” She teased lightly, despite heating up a little at the prospect. “It’s okay. I won’t show you.” She assured. “Maybe one day.” She offered, a slight invitation. Then, he began to talk about asking her something. When he finally did, she swooned.

“You want to go steady?” She asked, careful, making sure she didn’t misunderstand. “You like me that much?”

London / Can I have a taste of your ice cream? (River)
« Last post by Skylar Wright on March 05, 2024, 07:28:52 PM »
Flat in London that is hidden between 56B & 58B
Two bedroom, ground floor flat with basement and a rear garden

Concentrating with all her might, Sky looked at the mirror as she turned her hair into a periwinkle blue and grew it up into one long braid. The choke collar around her neck matched the rest of the black outfit she had on, which was a red fish-net halter top with leather straps. Fingerless gloves that went three inches right below her shoulder were made of leather with the same fish-net material. Tattoos began to form on her skin; a dragon on the right in blues and golds, and a samurai warrior fighting off a Komainu on her left. A knock on the door signaled it was time for Sky to get out there. Pulling on the long leather boots that went right below her knees, Sky adjusted the black and red grunge skirt and threw the leather jacket over her shoulders.

One of the benefits of being a Metamorphmagus was being able to do photoshoots for Wizarding magazines. One particular one, Wizarding Grunge, often called her agent a lot to schedule shoots. The only thing that resembled herself was the nosering and her eyes, the amber brown color staring into the lens as the person behind it took the pictures. A part of her thought about Camm Erskine, who took pictures for The Daily Prophet, and a twinge of pang ran through her. Sky didn’t mean to hurt him, in fact she didn’t even realize she did until their friendship ended. Now her two best friends, Ari and Camm, were living together and Sky barely saw them. So she just threw herself into Quidditch to deal with the pain of loneliness and heartbreak.

Putting on a smile, Sky pushed those thoughts away and got through the rest of the hour. When it was all said and done Sky shook her head and her original hair took the place of the periwinkle blue. The brunette bangs fell slightly over her eyebrows, the tattoos gone in the blink of an eye. With a flick of her wand the clothes she wore were replaced by her own, tattered jeans and a black Banquet shirt that showed the Wizarding band logo. A flash went off to her right and she turned her head to see the photographer had gotten a candid shot. It was still a bit strange getting used to being semi-famous. After three years of playing in the League the popularity seemed to keep growing. Which didn’t matter to Sky because all she cared about was being on that pitch with the wind in her face.

The familiar popping sound of Apparating echoed against the walls as Sky left the Wizarding magazine and appeared at the doorsteps of the flat she shared with teammate and friend River Jackson. Perhaps he was the only friend she had left in the world since she did a great job of running the rest of them off. Pushing her thoughts to the wayside, Sky unlocked the door with her wand and stepped in. "Riv?!" She wanted to be sure she wasn't interrupting any fun he was having with his boyfriend Nikon. Wrinkling her nose, Sky shifted her hair into a bun on top of her head and rolled up her sleeves to where they had been an slight bruise on her left arm. Earlier that morning a bludger had nicked her in the arm and she had to conceal it for the photoshoot.

There was no need to waste her ability concealing it now, so Sky let the enchantment go and began to rummage through the fridge looking for something to eat. Her stomach protesting loudly on the lack of food she ate today. Glaring at the almost empty contents of the fridge, Sky slammed the door and yelled quite loudly in the direction of River's room, "Did you bloody eat all the food?!"
