Sure Nemsi had never been the grand plan and plot orchestrating type but over the years he had learned to be exactly whatever he needed to be in the time he needed to be it. Last week he found a sick kid who needed some help so he carried him to a healer. At this moment he had some cursed treasure, a bounty on his head, and only knew of one person who could break the lock. So he was figuring out a scheme to get her to Port so he could hopefully convince her to help him out. Next month maybe there would be some rum to smuggle so he could chill on a beach and get drunk for a while. A pirate's job was never easy, of course.

After working out some details, stealing some maps, and nearly getting caught and skinned twice he managed to find himself in the center of the pirate city waiting for her to show up. They'd met before, they'd gotten along, and honestly that was about as good as gold to Nemsi. He didn't trust anyone so in turn he trusted everyone. It was a strange way to think about it but if he needed a job done he trusted people like him to do it for a price. That was how the world worked. At least the world he knew. He didn't expect her to do him any favors nor would he do her any. He would pay her for her time and for her to not to repeat the details of today's adventure to anyone. Of course, he wasn't going to tell her everything until he had to. Just out of precaution.

Travelling through the market dressed unlike normal he was in disguise. His identifying scars and tattoos were covered by a dark short robe perfect for the weather but with a hood that masked his face from the public. He was a little more on the run than normal today, having surfaced just long enough to steal something right out from under the captain of the Badda Sun's grubby pirate king's nose. He'd been avoiding them ever since he killed the former captain and escaped but today especially he was keeping a low profile. He kept his hood down but his chin up as he pushed random passersby out of the way. Nemsi moved for no one. Strong legs and a stronger torso made it so he didn't have to. He snatched up the collar of a street kid who tried to reach into his pocket and waggled his finger before letting him run off with his friends. Honestly he couldn't blame them, before he was taken he did exactly the same thing. It was the only kind of education kids like that got.

Finally he reached the stand he had hoped she would be most interested in, after letting the word out that there was a Goblin made cursed watch capable of moving things back and forth in time up for sale. It was the perfect hiding place really, how could the Aurors find stolen merchandise if it was legitimate hidden in the future. No country's ministry was ready for that kind of criminality. Honestly it was a good idea, he hoped someone would really make one one day, it could be quite useful. He wondered if he could beat that wizard into giving him some kind of finders fee. Creative rights, that was still a thing right? He watched her pick up the clock and waited to make sure it was her. He didn't recognize her hair but once her scarf fell he knew it was her.

He especially knew it was her when the five foot nothing feather of a witch right smack dab into him.

Grunting he shook his head at her and took a step back. He wondered if she'd broken anything, he was kind of like wall. "Come with me, Yarisow." He said in a low deep voice, meaning business but offering her the kindness of revealing exactly who he was to only her. He'd called her that since they day they met. It wasn't polite but it was one hundred percent accurate because she was indeed tiny. And that fact was in full display after she had piled right into him and he'd barely flinched. "I have offer to you." He knew he was being mysterious but it was hard not to be when he barely spoke English and he had to keep quite a lot of secrets. He moved around her and began walking toward a more remote part of the market even though no where was safe there would be less eyes and ears on them. Once they had gone a bit further he turned back around to her and pulled down his hood. He began to speak, stretching his broken English as far as he could but slipping in a few choice words of Piratesian here and then when he didn't know what to word to use.

"There is this chest, far away, that needs to be... disenchanted... before it can be opened." He paused, not knowing what word to use for the magical act of breaking a curse in English and continued. Normally needing to use English only irritated him. Of all the languages he barely understood English was his least favorite. It had no creativity, it wasn't fluid, it sounded strange. "There is something very important inside. Can you help?" Blunt, to the point, and refusing to take no for an answer Nemsi allowed her a moment to think about his question.
